This was a stressful day. My son had his wisdom teeth out and I started the  day taking the kids to school, running an errand, a quick meeting, then off to the hospital. All went well, but it was run, run, run. Got home & still needed to grocery shop so I had fruit and vegetables for the next couple of days, then karate, pick up kids, etc...  I ended up eating in the car both times today. I don't like that, never as satisfying. I probably came up short on water today.

Day 6

Breakfast: tea
Lunch: 100g chicken, 1/2 grapefruit, spinach, grissini breadstick
Dinner: shrimp, apple, cucumber, melba toast, tbsp milk

Today was my first day at work on the plan. I started the day feeling good, "light" for lack of a better word. Sweaty but not shaky. I had grapefruit at 8:30 am and lots of water, which was good because lunch was at 1:15pm, but I felt good. I feel tired, no, not tired, low energy. My friend (who also participated in this protocol) suggested I take B12 which I had forgotten. At home I had a difficult time picking out a dinner I wanted to eat. I really need to look into some additional options.

Breakfast:  Tea
Lunch:  100g chicken, strawberries, green salad
Dinner:  100g white fish, cucumber, melba toast, juice of one lemon

Travel day, went from the cabin to home. I had intermittent times of hunger, which drinking tea or water resolved. My husband cooked Mexican food for the family for lunch, smelled wonderful. Driving home after lunch I had my strawberries. My husband ate half of them. This really is easier than I thought. I am enjoying the creativity.

Day 4

I am shocked at how many times I would have eaten had I not been following the protocol. I didn't think I snacked much. But it is a bite here, a bite there, things I wouldn't even count if I was counting. But it adds up. I am slightly hungry today, but not famished. I found the tea good tasting and I like the BBQ sauce and salad dressing. Thank goodness for that! Saved my strawberries for later, glad to have them.

Day 3

I met with my pharmacist for my hCG consultation this morning.  Got my info together and dove in. I think starting when I have 3 days off work is perfect. I didn't eat until noon then made a delicious spinach and chicken salad. It was really good. Dinner was steak and tomato that was satisfying. Apple before bed. I drank almost 4 liters of water. Amazing. If nothing else, I'll be well hydrated. By evening my head felt more clear. To the cabin!

Notes/Comments:  I am not hungry.  I had my usual protein shake and fish oil. But, then I added hot cocoa. Hmmm... I don't know what else I can eat and stay awake. by dinner I have eaten too much and now I am irritable and tired. Lovely.

Woohoo, who doesn't love the green light to let loose and have bacon for breakfast, cheese on my soup, Reeces peanut butter cup, lasagna for dinner and a cupcake?  Yum!  Problem is, I feel like a sloth, I just want to sleep.  My stomach feels gassy and my head fuzzy.  How could you live like this? Oh wait, I did!
